Porro is the second venture from the team behind The Potted Pig restaurant in central Cardiff, located in the heart of the bustling Llandaff High Street. Chefs and owners Tom Furlong and Gwyn Myring oversee an ever-changing menu of modern British dishes, inspired by a shared love of Italian food. The beautiful restaurant has been designed by business partner Cerys Furlong and boasts an impressive private dining room available for larger parties and events.

Porro embraces an Italian philosophy of cooking, eating and drinking. The fully Italian wine list has been carefully chosen and represents the incredible diversity and quality the country has to offer. The kitchen sources authentic ingredients, both locally and from Italy, and treats them with respect. The high quality of the ingredients grants the team confi dence to serve simple dishes with minimal fuss. Fresh produce is sourced predominantly from Wales, fi sh is all landed in the British Isles, steak is sourced from local farms and dry-aged on the bone for a minimum of 28 days, and vegetables are grown in South Wales and the West. Italian suppliers are used for particular products and produce, providing access to amazing cheeses, cured meats and sundries. Delicious additions to Porro's authentic menu include fresh Puglian burrata, sweet Ligurian olives, wild boar speck, 24-month-aged Parmesan and fresh sheep's curd.
