The Bistro

The Bistro is a family restaurant through and through, having been run by the Freeman family for 20 years now. Enter this beautifully decorated establishment and you'll see that, rather than wiggly lines masquerading as modern art adorning the wall, there are adorable black-and-white family photos that stand out against the striking purple backdrop. A hospitable reception from Tully and his daughters and granddaughters at the front of house will surely follow as you come through the doors, before Helen, Derek and Jaci's menu is presented to you. The à la carte reminds diners of The Bistro's ethos of 'let our family take care of your family'; with starters such as fresh mussels with garlic, chilli and tomato; mains that include pasta, pizza, steak, seafood, salads and British classics; and a drool-worthy dessert list of sundaes, the Freemans clearly succeed in doing so
