Chop Chop Glasgow opened in March 2015, and is the sister restaurant of Chop Chop Edinburgh, which was featured in Gordon Ramsay's The F-Word and voted Britain's most popular Chinese restaurant in both 2010 and 2012. In looking up to its older brother, the Glasgow branch has already begun collecting its own accolades, and received an AA rosette for outstanding food quality just three months after opening.

Chop Chop offers north eastern Chinese food, which is very different from the fare served in most other Chinese restaurants, as dishes are characterised by fresh, natural flavours and garnishes such as coriander, spring onion and garlic. Chop Chop's serving style is truly authentic, with each dish arriving in rapid succession and brimming with pleasantly surprising flavours - these recipes are not served anywhere else. In particular, the award-winning boiled and fried dumplings are extremely popular. The unlimited banquet option (£20.95 per person) is also a good choice, as it presents the opportunity to sample many dishes of this delicious regional cuisine, and offers free refills.

Other surprises come thanks to the restaurant's decor - cherry blossom trees grow out of the floor, allowing patrons to enjoy their food or something from the fine selection of international beers and wines in the shade of the blossoms. With a high level of service and stunning food and drink, the Chop Chop experience is altogether memorable
