Since opening in 2001, chef Brian Maule has developed Chardon d'Or into an award-winning restaurant that is a must-visit for all food lovers. For 14 years, Brian has remained convinced that Scotland's natural produce is unmatched, and has taken full advantage of the inimitable quality and freshness of local ingredients to craft incredible dishes. For example, fish and shellfish from both the east and west coasts are always well represented on Chardon d'Or's menus, but Scottish lamb and beef are a particular passion of Brian's, and these dishes always shine too.

The dignified Victorian townhouse just off Blythswood Square that houses the restaurant is complemented indoors by modern but elegant decor - crisp white linen, sparkling tableware and striking floral displays create a comfortable, rather than formal, atmosphere. At night the room is filled with candlelight, providing a warm respite from Glasgow's sometimes chilly streets.

In addition to the main restaurant, Chardon d'Or boasts a unique opportunity for the ultimate private dining experience. The lower level of the restaurant hosts three dining suites with movable walls, meaning that the room is always perfect for groups of any size. This versatility allows the restaurant to create a more professional atmosphere for business lunches, staff nights out and product launches, as well as creating a personal, intimate feel for weddings, anniversaries and birthday parties.

As a star of Glasgow's restaurant scene, Chardon d'Or is the perfect place for your next meal - whatever the occasion
