Ostara is an independently owned café showcasing the best Scottish produce. The menu specialises in brunch dishes such as Ostara Benedict, comprising smoked salmon atop a freshly baked Scottish crumpet with organic egg, spinach and basil Hollandaise. There are also soups, salads and daily changing lunch specials, as well as homemade cakes with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. To accompany your brunch, choose one of the tasty cold-pressed juices, like the popular Super Green made with apple, cucumber spinach and mint. Coffee-lovers can enjoy locally roasted single origin coffee – the perfect accompaniment to a slice of homemade dark chocolate mocha cake. You can enjoy an organic craft beer or a tipple from the carefully crafted wine list. Throughout August Ostara will be offering a two-course lunch and early evening menu priced at £10, and will be open until 8pm Thursday to Saturday for pre-festival show dining.
