Sitting alongside the fine dining Forth Floor Restaurant, The Forth Floor Brasserie offers relaxed modern gastronomy in Edinburgh’s most stunning dining room. Thanks to 32 metres of floor-to-ceiling windows, The Brasserie offers panoramic views over the historic city skyline, while the wrap-around terrace provides an incredible al fresco dining spot during the summer months.
The Brasserie’s casual approach to dining means that you can pop in for food pretty much around the clock, with service running from 10am to 10pm most days. Customers can choose from an à la carte or seasonal prix-fixe menu, as well as a selection of sustainable seafood that’s picked and delivered daily for The Forth Floor’s very own seafood bar.
You might start your meal with one of the fresh salads on offer, such as marinated tiger prawns with avocado, pear and radish, or a Mediterranean-inspired starter of peperonata and sunblushed tomato bruschetta, accompanied by burrata and rocket. Continue with pan-fried sea bass served with gnocchi, peas, samphire and lemon beurre blanc, or enjoy a perfectly cooked 8oz rib-eye steak from Scottish Borders-reared beef. Finish with a tempting dessert such as the indulgent chocolate brownie with chocolate mousse and white chocolate ice cream.
