At Burger Meats Bun, owners James and Ben have a philosophy of utilising the skills that have been ingrained into them through their years of working in some of Scotland's best restaurants: that of attention to detail, pride and a constant drive for quality. They firmly focus on quality of choice rather than quantity, and produce heavenly chicken wings and awesome fries and burgers. Throw in some quality beers and a few good tunes, and that's pretty much what Burger Meats Bun is all about. At the heart of what James and Ben do is a dedicated team of awesome, artisanal suppliers. There are no boundaries when sourcing the best for their burger disciples, and, in Jonathan Honeyman of The Aberfoyle Butcher, James and Ben have one of Scotland's leading meat scientists sourcing the best beef out there. The chef duo also utilise the finest cheese from expert affixer George Mewes, and serve ale from the award-winning Cromarty Brewery. The team's handiwork has already paid off, as they won James vs. Burger's Best Burger in Glasgow award in 2013, which was the first year the restaurant was open. James and Ben were humble about this accolade, commenting 'our fantastic support had a massive part to play in that, and we can't thank you all enough. Well we can, by assuring we will keep striving to feed you burgers. But better.
