44-45 St Patrick Square, Edinburgh, EH8 9ET
Tucked in the corner of St Patrick Square, Bindi is Edinburgh's first vegetarian Gujarati and East African restaurant, offering a varied menu of tapas-style dishes from a fusion of two different cultures, all for excellent value.

The sit-in service allows you to enjoy traditional Indian cuisine with a distinct twist, and restaurant owner Bindi is on hand to help you navigate the menu, along with the rest of the friendly staff. Bindi also runs cookery classes every Monday to show visitors how it's done.

The taster menus offer an assortment of flavours, while larger thali dishes are updated each day by the chef and feature three different curries, chapatti, rice and a street-food snack. You'll have just enough room to try the delicious desserts - the mithai taster is a good way to sample three options at once
