The longer you spend in the company of The Apartment’s passionate owner Ruori and his gracious staff, the more you will appreciate their love of food and desire for every patron, whether first-timer or regular, to have an exemplary dining experience. From the buzzing atmosphere, contemporary decor and remarkable wine and cocktail list to the delicious fresh food on the constantly evolving menu, The Apartment sets the bar high. The menu has a great value pre-theatre set menu as well as numerous à la carte options to match every appetite and budget. We sampled delightful Mediterraneaninspired starters, followed by tomato-crusted coley fillet with grilled polenta and basil coulis, and lamb rump served with roasted rainbow beets, confit carrots, pea verde and whipped goat’s cheese. Our dishes were all perfectly seasoned with herbs grown in the kitchen garden. Skilfully walking the line between neighbourhood favourite and exciting culinary destination, The Apartment inspires enthusiasm all round.
