The Panorama Restaurant

The Panorama Restaurant offers quality dining and a view that is sure to impress and entertain in equal measure. Directly overlooking the racetrack at Owlerton Stadium in Sheffield, The Panorama offers the opportunity to enjoy the races in style, in a glamorous restaurant setting. The seasonal British menu is fresh and varied and there is a strong accompanying wine list.

Our meal started with a well-presented mozzarella, tomato and rocket salad with focaccia croûtes, basil and balsamic vinegar, and an appetiser portion of toad in the hole, with pork and apple sausages and red onion. We were well attended to between courses, with designated staff taking bets for each race for us. Our mains were a quality cut of sirloin steak with Bourguignon garnish and Port and thyme jus, and a superbly prepared lamb shank with redcurrants and garlic, red wine and mint jus. The evening dining package generously includes free Tote bets, which resulted in wins for us. Our winning high was made even better by the scrumptious desserts we enjoyed to round off the evening, which comprised sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and vanilla cheesecake with black cherry compote and almond creme anglaise.
