Executive chef David Spencer has held two AA rosettes for 25 years. Working closely with David, head chef Peter Gibson and chef-proprietor Ian Rae create delicious menus that showcase the best local produce from the surrounding areas. Start with the unique and delicious potted marjoram-scented local rabbit with ginger and plum chutney and a warm, miniature onion loaf. For a stand-out main, try the slow-braised breast of lamb with grilled cutlet, hot-pot potato and root vegetable and pearl barley sauce.
