Occupying a prime spot in heart of Scarborough, Café Fish is a seafood restaurant that sets itself apart from others. Just ten minutes away is the working harbour, where you’ll see local fishermen catching seafood to personally deliver fresh to Café Fish. Owner William has been buying from fishermen at the harbour since 1985. The restaurant is simply decorated with wooden flooring, pictures of Scarborough Bay and fitting hues of blue. Passionate staff greet visitors before leading them to one of the three dining rooms, which is past the fresh fish counter and bar area. The chowder, Thai fishcakes, smoked salmon, and oysters with vodka are popular starters. Mains include attractive dishes like the lobster platter, Dover sole fillets, mussels and local scallops. Although you may not have any room left, desserts include homemade sticky toffee pudding, ice cream sundaes and homemade chocolates. At Café Fish everything is reasonably priced, while also of the highest quality.
