Cavendish Pavilion

Cavendish Pavilion

0.5 miles
Bolton Abbey, Skipton, BD23 6AN
Situated in the heart of the Bolton Abbey Estate, on the pretty banks of the River Wharfe, is a foodie gem that once discovered will be revisited time and time again. The Cavendish Pavilion is modern and bright, whilst still retaining much of its traditional charm - it was opened in 1890 and the exterior was designed to resemble a Victorian station building.

The riverside café serves freshly prepared dishes and irresistible cakes that are made in-house daily. The Cavendish Pavilion is also keen to source all produce locally, from meats to teas. Beverages such as Victorian lemonade and dandelion and burdock are supplied by local business Fentimans, whilst Yorvale of York provides delectable ice creams, including honeycomb and mint choc chip. Cakes are displayed on logs in an artisan fashion and bread is freshly baked for sandwiches that are delicious and generously filled with a variety of options.

Thanks to its picturesque location and elegantly simple decor, the Cavendish Pavilion is also popular as a magical location for private parties, events and weddings
