Kings Arms Hotel
Pubs and Bars with Restaurants
Spend a day at historic Hampton Court, and make sure to explore the famous maze right on the hotel’s doorstep, to work up an appetite. Sate your hunger with a top-notch meal from the menu filled with classic dishes that have stood to test of time. On our visit, we shared some deliciously creamy garlic mushrooms to start, which I followed with steak and ale pie – my favourite dish, perfectly cooked. Topped with golden crust pastry, filled with excellent chunky steak and served with a generous serving of vegetables and mash, it was very satisfying. My partner decided on the butternut squash burger, packed with cheese and salad, which was well-seasoned and accompanied by a hearty portion of chips. Although rather well-satiated from our impressive fi rst two courses, we managed to find room for the comforting toffee apple pie with custard, and the decadent double-chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert.
Friendly service, interesting ale and beer on tap and a mouth-watering menu make the Kings Arms Hotel worth a visit.
