The Bull's Head
Standing proud in the Warwickshire village of Brinklow is The Bull’s Head. The pub has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and has been sympathetically refurbished to highlight the building’s character – think exposed beams and original window frames. The food offering includes traditional options that have stood the test of time, in addition to an ever-changing selection of specials. My visit began with crispy pork belly served atop rocket and pine nut salad and drizzled with balsamic glaze, before the main event of T-bone steak with thick-cut chips and my choice of sauce arrived. Both portions were generous, but the food was so delicious that I devoured every bite. Friendly service completed the meal, and I’ll definitely be back to experience it again – and perhaps sample the popular Sunday roast. There’s a large play area for children outside, making The Bull’s Head a great venue for the whole family.
