A pleasant drive through the North Warwickshire countryside takes you to the beautiful green Hoar Park Craft Village. After exploring the shops, a trip to the charming restaurant is the ideal way to relax. My friend and I entered the conservatory and took in the stunning views around us, perusing the menu of English classics. The breakfast menu offered a generous selection of favourites, as well as a great vegan option for my friend, which was as tasty as it was filling. I opted for the chicken and mushroom pie served with mash, peas and a generous helping of gravy. As for dessert, there’s a generous selection of homemade treats on offer, including coffee and walnut cake, pastries and scones. These can also be ordered as part of the afternoon tea. I chose the lemon drizzle cake – the perfect balance of zesty and sweet flavours.
