Pubs and Bars with Restaurants
17 High Street, Yatton, BS49 4JD
The Prince of Orange is a friendly pub in the heart of the village of Yatton, around one mile from the Cadbury Garden Centre. This is a traditional pub in the very best sense of the word, with a skittle alley where darts and pool are available too. There is a comfortable and cosy bar with log fires and a good selection of real ales - all tested by the landlord - perfect for whiling away those chilly West Country evenings. The separate lounge area has been recently refurbished to provide excellent food in modern and relaxing surroundings. Available every weekday, the lunchtime snack menu consists of freshly made sandwiches, warm baguettes and paninis, jacket potatoes and homemade soup. Running alongside is a hot food menu offering homemade curry, lasagne, chilli, locally sourced ham with egg and chips, fish, fluffy omelettes and a choice of regularly changing homemade specials. The supper menu offers a choice of 15 mouth-watering meals, all at one affordable price. A traditional carvery is served on Sundays, with two meats, fresh vegetables, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puds and proper gravy. The Prince of Orange is a small village pub serving top-quality, wholesome, well-cooked food, made using local ingredients whenever possible. There is ample car parking, a large beer garden to enjoy on warmer days, and five en-suite bedrooms available if the quality wine list gets the better of you.
