Great service and quality Indian cuisine come first at Rupali - something which becomes clear as soon as you arrive in the welcoming reception area. Smart decor, including a charming water feature, provides a fitting environment for an enjoyable evening with family or friends - perhaps in one of Rupali's attractive private dining booths listening to relaxing live music, courtesy of the grand piano.

To start, go for the chicken pakora, tandoori chicken or one of a range of kebabs and samosas. The menu at Rupali leaves nothing to be desired and includes favourites such as lamb shashlik - ample chunks of spiced lamb for £8.95. The restaurant specials are certainly worth a mention, particularly the award winning Sylheti chicken jalfrezi which comprises fresh, tender, spicy chicken with fresh spices, onions and peppers in a special jalfrezi sauce (£10.95). Aromatic vegetable, chicken, lamb and duck handi dishes, considered to be at the healthier end of the Indian culinary spectrum, are also available at very reasonable prices.

You'll be spoilt for choice while perusing the beverages on offer, which include a range of red and white wines as well as classic Champagnes and popular Indian beers such as Cobra and Kingfisher.

Rupali can also cater for your party, wedding reception or corporate event and will help you create your own special menu, tailored to your occasion.
