Purecraft Bar & Kitchen

Bar-Restaurant

0.5 miles
30 Waterloo Street, Birmingham, B2 5TJ

Craft beer afi cionados in search of a relaxed and easy going haven need look no further than Purecraft Bar & Kitchen. The Purecraft family’s flagship site, this well-appointed space was hailed as Best Beer Pub in 2015 by the Great British Pub Awards.

Purecraft menus comprise a modernised iteration of British bar fare. Many of the dishes are prepared using namesake brewery Purity’s brews, such as the Purecrafted Scotch egg, which is served with homemade Purity beer ketchup. Shareable nibbles and small plates populate half of the menu, giving diners the opportunity to enjoy Wyre Forest charcuterie and crispy goat’s cheese with cranberry and kriek jam, to name just a few. The other half helpfully lists main dishes alongside the Purecraft team’s beer pairings, such as the kimchi-topped beefburger with Wreckin White cheese and gem lettuce, which is served on a milk bun with fries and pairs well with a pint of Lagunitas IPA or Lanbier Dunkel.

For those with a sweet-tooth, desserts such as warm treacle tart with Porter ice cream, and stout and ginger cake with coconut meringue and pineapple sorbet will no doubt leave a lasting favourable impression as you settle the bill and pull on your coat.
