Horningsham, Nr. Warminster, BA12 7LY
The Bath Arms at Longleat is an attractive old coaching inn, set just outside the gates to Lord Bath's magnificent Longleat House and Safari Park. Located in the charming Wiltshire village of Horningsham, close to the Wiltshire-Somerset border, The Bath Arms is within easy reach of Bath, Warminster, Salisbury and Stonehenge. At only 15 minutes' drive from the A303, this charming establishment serves as the perfect stop-over point on a trip to or from the West Country.

The team here pride themselves on being a tad eccentric - more quirky than quaint - their aim being that guests' time here should be spent in an atmosphere of informality, fun, friendliness and efficiency. Using local suppliers is at the heart of The Bath Arms' ethos; simple and beautifully cooked British food is their culinary philosophy. In the delightful two-AA-rosette restaurant, head chef Chris Gregory and his team focus on using game, fish, rare-breed meats and traditional preserving methods to create original and sumptuous menus, with dishes to suit every palate. They even breed their own pigs in the garden. As for drink, all beers come from local breweries, while wines come from all over the globe, providing the perfect accompaniment to the delicious dishes on offer.
