The Swan is situated in Bradford on Avon, just a short walk from the train station and museum. As the venue’s many regulars can testify, it has a homely feel and the charm of a country inn made all the more appealing by the welcoming staff and tasty fare.
After successfully dishing up Thai cuisine for three years, the team have now developed a full menu offering a range of authentic, fresh Thai plates to satisfy hungry guests. Chicken satays with peanut sauce, spicy sweet corn fritters and Thai fishcakes with sweet chilli sauce are great ways to begin. For mains you can simply choose the type of stir-fry or curry you wish to scoff and then select what you would like to accompany it – just as they do in Thailand. So, whether you fancy a prawn stir-fry in sweet and sour sauce; tofu stir-fry with ginger and mushroom, or green curry with prawns, your needs will be met. Vegetarians are well catered for with the likes of butternut squash, potato and green bean curry, and tofu noodles. It’s not all about the food though – The Swan also boasts an impressive selection of drinks.
The 12 en-suite rooms are the perfect base from which to explore nearby Bath, Longleat Safari Park, Stonehenge and Cheddar Gorge.
