The Courtyard Café
The Courtyard Café is a fantastic local hub situated in the heart of The Town Mill, in Lyme Regis. Independently owned and run by chef Laura Joyce, the café offers a variety of nutritional, tasty dishes that boast a fusion of flavours. Everything is cooked with attention to detail and nutrition in mind, which is evident when your delicious dish arrives. You’ll find freshly made, locally sourced food that’s Fairtrade and organic wherever possible, and the team recycles 75 per cent of the waste the café produces. Spelt flour ground in the town mill is used to make bread, cakes, pastries and scones daily, while meat comes from Colyton Butchers, fresh fish is plucked from Lyme Bay, and seasonal vegetables and salad come from Trill Farm and the café’s own garden. The team is mindful of allergies and caters for special dietary requirements – several vegan and gluten-free options are available.
