Having gained more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, in 2010 dedicated husband-and-wife duo Paul and Rosie took over the East Dart Hotel, located in the heart of the wild but beautiful Dartmoor National Park. With a warm and friendly atmosphere, this traditional inn welcomes guests from far and wide, offering a comfortable place to rest your head, as well as a relaxed bar where you can simply enjoy a drink, indulge in cream tea, or choose a meal from the extensive menu. East Dart’s dog-friendly policy means that no member of the family is left behind.
The bar is impressively stocked with a range of real ale, farmhouse cider, lager and beer, and there’s also a selection of Scotch whisky and spirits to choose from. If you fancy food with your drinks, peruse the bar menu. Here you’ll find a variety of tasty snacks as well as traditional favourites such as steak and ale pie, beerbattered fish and chips, gammon with chips and peas, crispy scampi and a range of regularly changing local specials.
Those staying the night can opt for a family room, a standard double room or the beautiful honeymoon room.
