The Hart Inn
This lovely traditional pub is located in the centre of Hartland village, overlooking the square, making it an ideal stopping-off point for walkers on the coastal path. Even if you aren’t a keen walker, you’re sure to be won over by the area’s unspoilt coastline and secluded beaches, as well as The Hart Inn’s cosy bar area and sheltered walled garden. The inn serves proper homemade food in generous portions at a moderate price, including the legendary Sunday roasts with all the trimmings. Other popular dishes include succulent steaks, homemade fish pie, fish and chips, and curries – not forgetting some delicious homemade puds. No one leaves The Hart Inn hungry, and smaller portions are available for those with less hearty appetites. A great range of soft drinks, wine, ale and cider is also on offer to ensure you don’t leave thirsty either.
