The Terrace Café
Café

The Terrace Café, situated in the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, is a friendly, cosy riverside café serving excellent snacks, drinks and lunches. The menus are reasonably priced, and the team prides itself on sourcing top-notch local ingredients from the very best local suppliers. All of the food served is prepared in-house, cakes and scones are baked fresh every day and the ever-changing specials board offers plenty of variety for frequent visitors.
All dietary requirements can be catered for, with options for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets, so nobody has to miss out. Little ones can work up an appetite in the play corner before tucking into a children’s portion of something tasty. During pleasant weather, grown-ups can take a glass of wine or refreshing beer to the outdoor terrace to really relax.
The café boasts an idyllic riverside setting in Bovey Tracey, adjacent to Mill Marsh Park and with direct links to the Parke Estate, so walkers are in for a treat. This charming spot is situated on Dartmoor Way, with 95 miles of cycling and walking in Dartmoor National Park. What better way to spend a day than with a charming countryside walk followed by an afternoon of superb food and drink?
The shop and exhibitions at the Guild of Craftsmen are free to explore, and there are often free activities that prove popular with families.
