The Oyster Shack
Just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Avon estuary, you’ll find The Oyster Shack tucked away in the valley under a bright orange sail. This lovely seafood restaurant started as an oyster farm; people used to bring their own picnic to The Shack to enjoy the fresh oysters in the peace and quiet of the Avon Valley, and thus the restaurant was born. The à la carte menu showcases delicious, local seafood such as lobster, crab, mussels, Torbay sole and whole sea bass. The oysters are purified for 14 days and are the real star of the show, with a scrumptious choice of accompaniments including grilled chorizo and chilli.
