Blending modernity with period features and a little spice, the cottage that houses this excellent Indian restaurant is at once intriguing and inviting. The sumptuous interior is the perfect setting to embark on a voyage of taste discovery, sampling some traditional and unusual dishes along the way.

The dining room is dominated by beautiful hand-painted murals, each table is carefully laid for a fine-dining experience and open fires add to the welcoming feel. Created using cooking techniques and methods from India, the menu offers exotic dishes of delicate flavours and spices. From the extensive menu, start with the exciting flavours of crab kufta and experience spiced crabmeat with fresh coriander, deep-fried in ghee. Of the chef's specialities, perhaps opt for the samba lamb with its wonderful special sweet-and-sour coconut sauce. If all the choice leaves you a little lost, there are a number of set menus to explore too.

The quality design, fabulous food and warm service at Taj Brasserie make it the ideal venue for business meetings, wedding receptions and just about any other occasion you care to celebrate - just call to make arrangements.
