Stone built in 1824, this lovely rural pub can be found away from the bustle of Bristol and Bath in leafy Warmley. Also known as the 'Inn on the Green', The White Harte is perfect for ramblers in need of a refuel after their exertions, as well as for locals and those passing through along the A420. This pub is a real family affair, with Derek and wife Viv working alongside his brother and sister- in- law, John and Claire. For the last eight years, this team have been serving up heart-warming lunches, excellent ale and plenty of good cheer.

At the centre of the pub is one long bar, at which you can order Butcombe and Bath ales, as well as three types of cider - Stowford Press, Thatchers Dry and Blackthorn. Food is served from Monday to Saturday between midday and 2pm, and every hearty dish is home cooked by Viv. Tuck into fish dishes, steak and kidney pie, chilli, jackets or toasties, followed by something tempting from the range of traditional puds. Treat yourself to ice cream, apple crumble, pavlova or treacle sponge and experience country cooking at its best. The list of specials varies week to week, and every effort is made to use local suppliers. There is seating at the front of the pub and a large car park for your convenience. The White Harte revels in being exactly what it is - a great little pub with bags of character.
