The Duck & Willow is a contemporary British pub full of charm. Whilst the menus change to highlight the finest local and seasonal produce, diners will always be treated to a stunning array of outstanding dishes. If you’re stopping by for lunch, why not sample one of the delicious pizzas? The spiced red onion and goat’s cheese pizza drizzled with chilli honey is absolutely divine. Also available are a selection of doorstep granary sandwiches, all of which are served with skinny fries and coleslaw. The Duck & Willow is also the perfect spot for a special evening meal. Why not start with the flavoursome duck liver parfait with homemade tomato and mustard seed chutney? For the main course, unctuous butternut squash risotto with Blacksticks Blue cheese and crispy sage is bursting with autumnal flavours. For a real treat opt for the roasted fillet of salmon accompanied by a tomato and caper croquette, wilted spinach and sauce vierge. The Duck & Willow also serves superb steaks, which are sourced from Ruby Red cattle by local butchers Ruby and White to ensure each prime cut is of exceptional quality. Your choice of rump, rib-eye or sirloin cooked to your liking comes served with chunky chips, slow-cooked tomato and peppery watercress. Desserts such as roasted chocolate with raspberry sorbet and pistachio, and peach posset with toasted almonds and Champagne sorbet, are perfect for those with a sweet-tooth. On Friday and Saturday morning stop by for a delicious breakfast and tuck into the likes of a full English breakfast or eggs Royale. Sunday lunch is reserved for a proper roast. Options include succulent roast chicken with sage and onion sausage stuffing, and slow-roasted glazed gammon, accompanied by roast potatoes, cauliflower purée, Yorkshire pudding and gravy.
