The Squire Inn
67 Broad Street, Chipping Sodbury, BS37 6AD
The Squire Inn is an original 17th-Century coaching house inn situated in the market town of Chipping Sodbury, 12 miles from Bristol and 14 miles from Bath. In the five years that William and Denise Tierney have owned The Squire, they have established its reputation as a venue offering superb cuisine, as well as providing a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a few drinks. The menu at The Squire is extensive, with an emphasis on meat, poultry and fish. Head chef Tony Bird has worked hard to produce superb daily specials using seasonal produce from local suppliers. Recently enjoyed examples include pheasant casserole and honey-roasted ham hock. Choose whether to dine in the bar area - which offers a large fireplace, creating a cosy setting during the winter months - or in the recently refurbished restaurant. The Squire's large garden is the perfect place for food and drink during warm weather, and make sure you visit for a traditional roast on Sundays. With various food and drink offers available throughout the week, no matter when you visit The Squire, you won't be disappointed.
