At the Wine & Sausage Restaurant, they are passionate about real food - the great and simple British dishes that we all grew up with. Ingredients are carefully sourced and wherever possible they use local and regional farmers, growers, fishermen, brewers and even winemakers. Expect traditional dishes with a modern twist - and much more than just sausages.

The restaurant has been tastefully refurbished and decorated with heritage colours and antique furniture, in keeping with the history and style of the building. Occupying the ground floor of the Corner House Hotel, there is a cosy bar, lounge area, a unique wine shop, a restaurant which can seat up to 60 guests and a private dining room that can hold up to 100 guests for an informal buffet or function. Open every day, they serve traditional home-cooked breakfasts, morning coffee and cakes, lunches, bar snacks, afternoon tea and evening meals.

The Corner House Hotel is located where the Wellington Road meets Park Street. With ample free parking, the hotel boasts 44 comfortable and competitively priced bedrooms, each with a gleaming en-suite bathroom, flat-screen television, free Wi-Fi, a kettle with a choice of teas and coffees and a refrigerator with fresh milk and chilled bottled water.
