Pubs and Bars with Restaurants
Cosy Club’s flagship site is situated on Corn Street, one of central Bristol’s most well-frequented streets. The interior combines grandeur with a cosy-chic style, so you can expect to find a magnificent Corinthian-style ceiling, mounted stag heads and adorable vintage teacups holding tea lights.
Cosy Club’s extended food service hours mean that it’s a venue for everybody and every occasion, whether you’re looking for brunch to cure a hangover, a suitable establishment for a business lunch or somewhere for a meal out with friends. Its location, just a few minutes’ walk from the Hippodrome, means that it’s ideally suited to a pre-theatre dinner, as well as a cocktail after the show.
You might want to start with a selection of tapas for two, or or sample the mushroom brushcetta, which comprises pan-fried mushrooms, spinach and smoked garlic atop toasted sourdough. For the main course, pan-roasted salmon is accompanied by greens, new potatoes and a poached egg, and is sure to delight. Alternatively, opt for one of the scrumptious burgers – the Thai-spiced quinoa burger is made with pak choi, wood-roasted peppers and edamame, and is bursting with flavour. For something lighter, choose from the range of salads or sandwiches. Indulge in a warm chocolate brownie paired with vanilla ice cream for dessert, or finish with something refreshing and tuck into scoops of orange, mango and blackcurrant sorbet.
Whether you’re dining or not, the award-winning drinks selection at Cosy Club isn’t to be missed. Designated drivers have plenty to choose from, including the refreshing Cooling Lemonade made with freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar syrup, mint and cucumber. From the cocktail menu the English Garden is a refreshing muddle of all the things we Brits love – Hendrick’s gin, pressed apple juice and elderflower poured over crushed ice and served with a sliver of cucumber – it really says ‘roll on summer’. From Monday to Friday you can nab any two of the exquisite cocktails for £9.50, and on Tuesdays you can enjoy three tapas dishes and a glass of wine for £11.95, making Cosy Club the perfect place to meet up after work.
Pop in to try a tipple or two, and remember that Cosy Club is also available for private hire – this elegant venue is sure to make your event a memorable one.
