Brace & Browns
Pubs and Bars with Restaurants
Brace & Browns is a name synonymous with style, excellent customer service and fantastic food. It’s famous locally for Sunday roasts, for which it has won multiple awards – with local organic meats cooked to perfection, crispy Yorkshire puds and a wide selection of local and seasonal vegetables with lashings of gravy, it’s easy to see why.
Brace & Browns’ chefs also offer their own creative take on tapas, serving classic British dishes in small-plate portions, such as succulent pork belly, mini burgers with applewood cheese and truffled hand-cut chips.
You’ll find a plethora of veggie dishes and the majority are gluten-free. Got a bit of an appetite? Plump for the all-you-can-eat tapas deal priced at £15 per person or just £12.50 for lunch. Alternatively, visitors can dine from the à la carte menu. Due to Brace & Browns’ affinity for using local and seasonal produce, menus change often.
Brace & Browns’ impressive offering of bottomless brunch has been a roaring success since its inception and its popularity is unwavering. Available with or without bottomless fizz, the tempting selection can include American pancakes, grilled chorizo and eggs on toast, and toasted walnut and banana loaf with Greek yoghurt and berry compote.
Visit in the evening and bask in the sunshine out on the terrace while enjoying something from the venue’s cocktail menu – we recommend the The Peach Collins, comprising Bombay Sapphire Gin, glorious peach purée, mint, lemon and soda. Understandably, Brace & Browns is rather popular, so booking ahead is advisable, and necessary for the bottomless brunch.
If you’re hosting a party or event, the entire venue is available for private hire with personalised menus for the special event. Brace & Browns also has a fantastic event room downstairs, which is suitable for 30 to 35 people. For anything from private dining and business meetings, to birthday celebrations, wine tasting and cocktail masterclasses, Brace & Browns is perfect for all occasions.
