Canons Way, Bristol, BS1 5UH

Bordeaux Quay is a venue for all occasions. On the ground floor you’ll find The Brasserie; an informal, light-filled space fashioned after a New York brasserie. Here, cakes and pastries are served throughout the day. At lunchtime, expect to find the likes of mezze plates, chicken salad and the vegetarian tart of the day adorning the menu, while come evening, a heartier selection is available. Choose from confit lamb shoulder with salsa verde, Italian fish stew, linguine with walnut pesto, and much more.

The Restaurant is situated on the first floor. The decor is elegant, the food is sophisticated and the views of the harbour are spectacular. Why not begin with beetroot risotto with broad beans and goat’s cheese, before moving on to chicken breast stuffed with lemon, thyme and mascarpone, paired with garlic and tarragon brioche pudding? Alternatively, if you’re a fan of seafood, opt for baked hake with brown shrimp butter and new potatoes, or perhaps fettuccine with red mullet, mussels and tomato bay sauce.

Those who wish to enjoy Bordeaux Quay’s offering at home can make use of the on-site deli. From fresh bread to bespoke hampers and confectionery, there’s something for everyone.

Bordeaux Quay has its own cookery school, which holds classes for children and adults, and can also be privately hired.
