Four & Twenty Blackbirds
Tucked away down a little street in Corfe Castle, Four & Twenty Blackbirds beckons diners with a picture-perfect exterior bedecked in bunting and twinkling lights that, come evening, make this restaurant look like a fairytale venue.
Staff are friendly and accommodating, and the whole restaurant has been carefully thought out with comfort in mind. The beautiful rural setting is brought into Four & Twenty Blackbirds with pretty wildflowers on the tables, natural decor and wide windows looking out to a tree-lined courtyard. This is just the place to pull up a pew outside and soak up some sun while indulging in the delicious food and fine beverages. Dogs are also very welcome.
Chef Toby Wood, who runs both the restaurant and Four & Twenty Blackbirds catering, is an unashamed champion of all things local and organic and works hard to feed hungry customers with the best of what the area has to offer, whether he is hosting a private party, catering at a wedding or mixing cocktails at garden parties.
The restaurant is just minutes from historic Corfe Castle and the model village, and I can highly recommend popping by, whether for a quick coffee and a piece of cake or a full dinner from the à la carte – and for reliable caterers for an event or wedding, you’d do well to look to Four & Twenty Blackbirds. Follow their Facebook page for details of midweek events, including seasonal feasts.
