The Dock

0.5 miles
King Point Marina, Brunel Way, Plymouth, PL1 3EF
The Dock brings modern, laid-back dining to the beautiful Coastal Quarter of Plymouth, and showcases the area's engineering past and stunning seascapes thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows and beautiful balcony. The restaurant's two first-floor balcony dining areas provide a pleasant view of the Millbay basin which was designed and built by distinguished engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel in 1857; diners can enjoy a gorgeous vista encompassing boats and catamarans bobbing sleepily in the marina and Drake's Island beyond.

The menu offers something for everyone, with age-old favourites such as homemade pies, fish fingers and chicken Kiev on offer alongside creative dishes like halloumi parcels with sweet potato and tahini mash, and chorizo croquettes with saffron aioli. The Dock takes full advantage of its coastal location by serving up quality local catches, including local fishcakes, roasted Atlantic scallops, clams, squid, mussels and tiger prawns, which are all ethically and sustainably sourced.

The Dock is the ideal place to take a break for those enjoying a day out along the coast, and for families, friends and couples to indulge in an informal breakfast, lunch or dinner, any day of the week. It also entices day-trippers looking to venture out of the city centre, rest their feet and kick back with a revitalising coffee or a concoction or two from the cocktail menu
