With its beamed ceiling, slate floor, stained glass windows and a friendly and helpful team who really know their beer, The Castle Inn is a traditional pub through and through. Staff here are happy to offer advice on the great selection of real ales from around the UK and that includes local tipples from Skinner's and Sharp's breweries. If you're in St Ives at Easter time, then don't miss The Castle Inn's annual beer festival, as it's then that this venue bolsters itself with over 45 real ales and ciders from Cornwall and all over the country for thirsty punters to try.

'...a traditional pub through and through...'

As well as all the beer, The Castle Inn serves tasty twists on traditional pub food, with options for vegans and vegetarians. It's all prepared on the premises and, where possible, the fresh ingredients are locally and sustainably sourced.

With newspapers and a charity book swap provided for patrons, The Castle Inn is a great place to come to relax with a pint. On Monday nights, there's even a fun pub quiz which is only £1 to enter. The quiz starts at 8.30pm, but make sure you get there early, as it's really popular
