Bright, contemporary, and chic, Fullam Restaurant has stood the test of time. Having been in business for over 12 years, it continues to impress visitors with its expertly composed menu of exotic cuisine. Inside this meticulously restored 200-year-old coaching inn you’ll find antique Chinese furnishings and a simple colour scheme, as well as a bespoke conservatory. There’s a pretty courtyard to the rear, where bamboo and other Oriental plants grow, adding to the authenticity of your dining experience. Once you’ve selected a tipple from the drinks list, which includes some fine sake, move on to the pleasingly concise menu. Dishes are cooked by highly trained chefs using choice ingredients. The crispy aromatic duck is the stuff of gastronomic dreams and must be tried. The exciting flavour nuances of mango and plum king prawns, and Oriental ginger and spring onion duck both make fine main courses. Set menus are available, as are banquet selections if you’re planning a special event.
