Sitting at the top of Crediton High Street on St Lawrence’s Green is the cosy little restaurant Il Casita. Chef-owners Nicholas and Tina opened Il Casita four years ago and have gone from strength to strength with their ever-changing Mediterranean menu. Their ethos of using sustainable and locally sourced ingredients shines through in every dish.

This 40-seater restaurant has many different aspects, from the cosy Romeo and Juliet table overlooking the main room with its open fire, to a separate private dining room that comfortably seats ten. Hidden away in the back is a sunny Mediterranean courtyard perfect for al fresco dining on those warm evenings or just for enjoying an aperitif before you are shown to your table. The menu changes each month, keeping the dishes fresh and vibrant, and each month the set menu reflects a different region from around the Mediterranean, and offering three courses for just £24.50. Tuesdays host Ladies’ Night, when ladies get to catch up with friends and dine on two courses and a glass of wine for £17.95.

Il Casita is the perfect place for dinner with friends, family occasions or romantic evenings for two. If you are looking for a dining experience with freshly prepared food, a relaxing atmosphere and a sense of feeling well looked after, then pop along to Il Casita, where Nick, Tina and their staff will provide you and your guests with an enjoyable and memorable evening.
