The Who'd A Thought It Inn is packed with personality. From the moment you arrive you'll be asking the question written above the door, because who would expect that this traditional country pub could be packed with so much individuality? An eclectic mix of pictures, plants and memorabilia - including a classic British red telephone box - create an ambience bursting with comfort, cosiness and character. This encompassing sense of charm is fused with classic English cuisine and a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Glastonbury, in the shape of five beautifully-appointed en-suite bedrooms.

The restaurant is a delightful dining space, and the dinner menu offers a wide range of delicious fare, including roasted loin fillets of wild local rabbit served with truffle and pistachio mousse and trompette mushrooms (£14.50), and vegetarian options such as pan-fried potato gnocchi with pesto, peas and pine nuts (£9.75). For lunch, try the homemade pie of the day (£7.50) or a perfectly-filled sandwich or panini. On warmer days, you can dine surrounded by an award-winning display of flowering baskets on the lovely patio. The Who'd A Thought It also houses an original 18th-Century bar, with a cosy open fire surrounded by more quirky paraphernalia. The bar serves an extensive menu every day for both lunch and dinner, and offers a large selection of beers, spirits and wines. This pub is unusual, outstanding and definitely worth a visit
