31-33 Benedict Street, Glastonbury, BA6 9NB
The King Arthur is a traditional pub at the very heart of the community in Glastonbury. Friendly staff, a talented new chef and a fabulous beer garden make The King Arthur a popular choice for tourists and locals alike, but it's the pub's reputation as a music venue that has really put this cosy corner of Glastonbury on the map. Visitors from near and far flock to The King Arthur throughout the week for regular live music events, and in 2015 the pub is even hosting a Summer Solstice festival.

In the summer, the spacious beer garden is the perfect place to soak up the sunshine and relax with a perfectly pulled pint and a bite to eat. The pub has recently welcomed a new chef to the team, and the kitchen is already earning plenty of praise for producing superb home-cooked dishes. Grab a seat in the garden and dig into a starter of spicy chicken wings or crispy whitebait, or share a plate of nachos with friends. For your main course, you can look forward to the likes of hearty shortcrust pastry pies with herby mashed potatoes or fish and chips. Vegetarians have a whole host of dishes to choose from, including a delicious Cajun vegetable and bean burger and a vegetarian sausage casserole with root and Mediterranean vegetables
