The Old Cellars

The Old Cellars

0.5 miles
Cagwith, TR12 7JU
Built in the 18th century, The Old Cellars was originally a pilchard cellar. Over time the pilchard trade made way for The Old Cellars to become a successful eatery, now run by owners Jack and Sophie. They've ensured that the restaurant retains the venue's heritage, charm and original features, so it's the perfect place to take a break and immerse yourself in the area's history. A perfectly positioned café and bistro with sea views, The Old Cellars cultivates a relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen uses only the freshest fish landed opposite the restaurant, whilst dairy and vegetables are supplied by local farmers. Enjoy a Cadgwith crab sandwich for a light lunch, a cream tea in the beautiful courtyard for a celebration, or push the boat out with a bottle of bubbly and a delicious evening special like the panroasted fillet of hake with shellfish and saffron risotto, crab crust and samphire. With seascapes and history galore, The Old Cellars is the perfect catch
