Start out in the Champagne bar and peruse the enticing, seasonally changing menu over a glass of something tantalising. The restaurant dining room continues the theme of stylish informality - tables are simply dressed and the artwork colourful and witty.

The food and wine, of course, are the real showpieces of the restaurant. Executive chef Ian Webber overseas a talented kitchen team that makes the best use of Devon's magnificent year-round larder. Fish comes direct from day boats at Brixham, the lamb is from Dartmoor and beef is from Devon's renowned Red Rubies.
