The Slaughters Manor House
Situated in one of England’s prettiest villages, The Slaughters Manor House (formerly known as Lower Slaughter Manor) is a beautiful 17th-century manor house that combines contemporary interiors with country charm and attentive service.
Spring 2016 saw the entire ground floor of The Slaughters Manor House renovated to restore the character of the building by exposing and emphasising architectural details. A revitalised layout offers new and defined rooms, including the introduction of a bar serving tasting plates, a brand new snug and billiards room.
The restaurant at The Slaughters Manor House is one of the most acclaimed in the Cotswolds and is proud to hold three AA rosettes. Celebrating the finest regional and seasonal produce from land and sea, the team of skilled chefs creates tantalising menus that are English and stay true to location. Dishes are perfectly matched by the sommelier’s wine selections.
Alongside tasting and table d’hote menus, guests can choose from the lounge menu, which includes tasting plates and heartier dishes – a casual alternative available in the public rooms.
Afternoon tea at The Slaughters Manor House is an occasion in itself, whether enjoyed in front of a roaring log fire in the winter or al fresco on the lawns in the summer. Indulge in a traditional full afternoon tea, or experience the gentleman’s afternoon tea featuring cold meats, fine English cheese and Cotswolds ale.
