No Man's Grace on Chandos Road is a welcome addition to Redland's dining scene. Billed as a 'dessert bar and tapas den', it serves chef-proprietor John Watson's exquisite puddings (with wine pairings) which are as carefully considered as the small plates. On a busy Saturday evening, we began by sharing a mouth-watering appetiser of crispy coated ham hock and sauce gribiche as we soaked up the bustling neighbourhood feel. Four inventive small plates followed: mussels with bacon in a cider cream sauce; saffron-poached chicory with brioche, Trethowan's Dairy sheep's curd and pear; braised ox cheek with lentils cooked in beet root juice; and treacle-cooked pork belly with celeriac and apple. Puddings stole the show. My light passion fruit soufflé had risen beautifully while my companion's coffee tart with walnut ice cream was deeply rich and decadent. Whether visiting to sate your sweet tooth or for a full-blown meal, rest assured, everything will be executed with flair
