Severnshed is located on Bristol’s buzzing harbourside and sits within Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s 1843 boathouse. Boasting some of the finest waterside views the city has to offer, combined with a lively atmosphere and an excellent bill of fare, Severnshed is a great choice for any occasion.

The menu has been well crafted and showcases some of Bristol’s brilliant local suppliers, including Pinkmans Bakery and The Bristol Cheesemonger. Whether it’s a few snacks before dinner, a quick sandwich or salad, a catch up with friends or a date night with your loved one, the menu caters for all occasions. Starters come in the form of flavoursome cep and leek tart with a frisée and chive salad, and new season figs with serrano ham and aged Parmesan.

When it comes to the mains, the grill is the star of the show, with a selection of grass-fed 21-day-aged steaks playing a pivotal role. Seafood fans will love the market fish of the day from Cornish waters, and the signature Shed burger is a firm favourite among regulars. There’s also a great range of veggie options, like mouth-watering gnocchi with woodland mushrooms, shaved chervil root and rocket, as well as butternut squash, sage and brown butter risotto.

Sunday lunch offers a traditional roast from noon to 5pm, with a backdrop of live acoustic music providing the perfect accompaniment. When the sun is out, head to the balcony to take in iconic views of the floating harbour and its brightly coloured houses; it’s perfect for al fresco dining or enjoying a cocktail in the evening sun.

If it’s a drink you’re after, Severnshed will not disappoint. The buzzing bar offers two cocktails for £12, local craft beer and cider, and a wine list that features over 70 bins. The resident DJ brings the house down every Saturday night from 8pm. With all this and more on offer, there’s every reason to visit Severnshed.
