Rainbow Casino is centrally located in Bristol’s bustling Millennium Square, providing a great hub for drinks, dinner and the full casino experience. Its unique offering sets Rainbow Casino apart from other dining destinations in the area. It might be that you’ve never thought of stopping by the casino for dinner or drinks, but it’s definitely worth seeking out. We visited on a Thursday evening to sample the Rainbow Experience – a great-value party package, which includes a drink on arrival, a three-course meal, after-dinner coffee or tea and a £10 gaming voucher for just £27.95.

We decided to start with a round of cocktails, sampling refreshing Mojitos and the ever-popular Long Island Iced Tea. The Rainbow Package includes a bottled beer or glass of wine, which we enjoyed with our meal. The food offering is varied, with an emphasis on British and Mediterranean favourites, and a few Asian and Caribbean specials. Spoilt for choice, we sampled a range of starters including creamy garlic mushrooms served on warm ciabatta, karaage crispy prawns with sweet chilli dip and Asian-dressed cucumber, and the beautifully fresh bruschetta. The main courses were equally diverse. From perfectly cooked sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce and chunky chips to jerk chicken with sweet potato fries, there’s something to suit all palates. My vegetarian companion particularly enjoyed the lightly spiced falafel and spinach burger, which came with sour cream, fries, battered onion rings, and fresh coleslaw. Desserts at Rainbow Casino are a decadent affair. Despite being full from the first two generously proportioned courses, we opted to share a homemade lemon meringue pie with ice cream. Featuring buttery pastry, tart lemon curd and swirled meringue baked to golden perfection, this was the perfect way to conclude a thoroughly enjoyable meal.

With polite and friendly yet unobtrusive hospitality, delicious food and the full casino experience on offer, Rainbow Casino is well worth a visit. You don’t have to be a member to access the restaurant but you must be over 18. Perfect for special occasions and parties as well as providing a fun-filled start to a night out, the

Rainbow Experience package is a great introduction to the casino’s offering and the £10 gaming voucher is the icing on the cake. Rainbow Casino promotes responsible gambling and operates a Think 21 policy; if you are lucky enough to look under 21 you will be required to show photographic ID.
