For delicious British cuisine served in a modern and stylish venue, look no further than The Prince Street Social. It is situated in the heart of the vibrant downtown office district, with the harbourside, theatres, hotels, shops and car parking facilities right on the restaurant’s doorstep.

The Prince Street Social is open for breakfast from 10am. Those who work nearby can pop in for a pastry and coffee, while visitors looking for something heartier can delight in the brunch menu. Choose from the likes of smashed avocado, red onion and tomatoes atop sourdough, buttermilk pancakes drizzled in chocolate and pecan sauce, and salmon and scrambled eggs on toast, paired with a frothy coffee or fresh fruit juice.

The lunch and evening menu is equally tempting, with everything prepared fresh on-site using locally sourced ingredients, wherever possible. The home-smoked haddock and parsley risotto is a great way to begin a meal, as are the scallops and pork belly with apple and kale. Next, tuck into succulent poussin paired with sweet potato, Savoy cabbage, crispy pancetta and red wine jus, or sate your hunger with cider-battered cod accompanied by triple-cooked chips, mushy peas and, of course, tartare sauce. Those with a sweet-tooth will find it difficult to choose from the puddings – the lemon tart, raspberry meringue and Eton Mess is a marriage of fruity flavours, while the dark chocolate mousse cake with raspberry sorbet is utterly indulgent. The selection also includes smaller plates that are available all day, like the macaroni cheese fritter and black pudding Scotch eggs.

Alternatively, if it’s just a drink you’re after, relax with one of the original house cocktails, a glass of wine from the discerning list, or perhaps a beer, which has been brewed around the corner at The Prince Street Social’s sister venue, King Street Brew House. Table service allows visitors to truly relax, and visitors will be impressed to learn that no service charge is added to the bill.
