My dining partner kicked off our magnificent feast with crispy calamari, accompanied by fresh lemon and roasted garlic mayo. I opted for crispy potato gnocchi enhanced by tomatoes, Parmesan and fresh herbs. After a helpful discussion with our waiter, I followed with rib-eye steak, which was wonderfully tender and juicy. The accompanying hand-cut triple-cooked chips were light and fluffy, and the peppercorn sauce was a triumph. My companion ordered fish and chips partnered with mushy peas and tartare sauce, which was equally delicious.
Portions were generous, but we couldn’t say no to dessert. We succumbed to an indulgent sticky toffee pudding paired with vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce to share. It proved a wonderful end to our meal and we vowed to return soon. Whether you’re just popping in for one of their signature cocktails or treating someone to a delicious three-course meal, Keepers Kitchen & Bar is sure to delight.
