Boyce's Avenue, Clifton Village, Bristol, BS8 4AA
The Albion was designed to showcase the best local produce, great wine and good hospitality, and has been setting the standard in the West Country since 2004. Its great location, friendly staff and sunny courtyard ensure that it remains at the centre of Clifton Village life.

This award-winning venue offers seasonal dishes, including a lunchtime bar menu featuring comforting pub classics for those in a hurry, tapas throughout the summer and a full à la carte menu for those with more time on their hands. The chefs develop traditional British dishes with a nod to the Continent (think Mrs Beeton does Europe). All dishes are made using West Country produce and organic ingredients where possible. The 35-day-aged rib of Aberdeen Angus for two is very popular, fresh fish and shellfish are always available and vegetables are strictly seasonal. Game is a speciality in season, as is a variety of foraged produce.

The bar stocks premium spirits and outstanding single malts alongside local ales and cider, and even boasts its own Albion Lager. Guest ales are regularly introduced and the wine list has been chosen on the basis that good, affordable wine should be a given.

The Albion has been recommended in The Michelin Guide for the tenth year running. Sister site, The Seymour Arms, Blagdon opened last year, offering everything you expect from The Albion, with the addition of six bedrooms. The Albion and its three private dining rooms are available for private functions and business lunches
